Mr. Evans serves as the Treasurer for the Corporation on the Executive Committee, he is also the Chair of the Finance Committee, President of the SNC Technical Services Committee, a member of; the By-Laws/Personnel Committee, Land Committee, Sitnasuak Properties Committee, and the Bonanza Fuel, LLC Committee.
Mr. Evans is currently the President/CEO of Rural Energy Enterprises and the owner of Financial Inc., a business consulting firm, he is also the owner of Alaska Media LLC which publishes the Arctic Sounder, The Bristol Bay Times and the Dutch Harbor Fisherman newspapers. He formerly served as the Vice President of Alaska Growth Capital, a subsidiary of Arctic Slope Regional Corporation. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Bering Straits Native Corporation and as an advisory Board member for KNBA. He formerly served on the Board of Directors of the Alaska Community Foundation and the board of Ryan Air, Inc. Mr. Evans holds a BA in Organizational Management from Alaska Pacific University.
