The Sitnasuak Native Corporation Board of Directors has announced that SNC will be offering all Shareholders of record as of December 3, 2021, the opportunity to apply for a second round of CARES Act DAP funds.  In the second round, all eligible Shareholders may apply for up to $600 until funds are depleted.  SNC Shareholders who have incurred additional expenses and/or loss of income due to the COVID-19 pandemic are eligible to apply for this second round of CARES Act DAP funds.  For Shareholders who received funds during the first round, the second payment will be for COVID-related expenses that are in addition to those for which they received the first payment.

The second Direct Assistance Program Application will be available on the MySNC Shareholder Portal on Wednesday, December 8th. The deadline to apply for the second round is 5pm AKST Friday, December 17, 2021.  To ensure that your application is received, and you are paid, we encourage all Shareholders to apply via the MySNC Shareholder Portal or contact the SNC CARES team.

For Shareholders planning to submit hardcopy applications, please be advised that it is your responsibility to make sure the completed application is received by SNC no later than 5:00pm AKST on December 17, 2021.  Applications received after the deadline, will not be eligible for payment. The SNC offices in Nome and Anchorage will have a laptop available for Shareholders who do not have internet access at home to apply. The SNC CARES Act team will be available Monday-Friday 8am – 5pm to assist.  If you know a Shareholder who may need assistance, please let them know!
