Sitnasuak Native Corporation (SNC) announces a Shareholder opportunity, to run for the SNC Board of Directors, and submit proposals for consideration during the 47^th Annual Meeting.

The 47^th Annual Meeting of Shareholders is scheduled for Saturday, June 6, 2020, in Nome, Alaska. A total of four (4) directors will be elected for terms until the 50^th annual meeting. This is a leadership opportunity to get involved in the decision-making process for our village corporation. Candidates must be 18 years old or older by the filing date.

Interested Shareholders will need to submit a board candidate questionnaire by 4:00 pm Alaska Daylight Time (AKDT) on or before March 6, 2020, to the SNC Shareholder Department in the Nome or Anchorage offices. The questionnaire is available at the offices or may also be downloaded by clicking here.

Shareholders also have an opportunity to submit a proposal for consideration at the annual meeting.  This is generally new business that is proposed by a shareholder and submitted on a form and filed with the Shareholder Department on or before March 6, 2020, by 4:00 pm AKDT.  The proposals need to comply with SNC policies and a proposal form is available at the Nome and Anchorage offices or may also be downloaded by clicking here.
