Sitnasuak Native Corporation (SNC) is looking for interested Shareholders and Lineal Descendants (child, grandchild, great grandchild) to participate in a photo submission of Nome and surrounding areas to be included in a drawing for cash prizes!

Photos submitted would potentially be featured in online and print marketing such as SNC’s corporate website at snc.org, social media platforms, SNC’s Quarterly Venture Newsletter, SNC Messengers as well as materials for SNC’s Annual Meeting of Shareholders, calendars and more.

Eligible Shareholders and Descendants who submit photos with the required documentation will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win cash prizes beginning February 11, 2022.

There are two ways to participate

Option1: Through SNC’s online website: 2022 SNC Land Photo Submission (most user friendly by a cell phone/smart phone but participants can also use a tablet, laptop/desktop.)

Option 2: Submit photos and a completed Photo Authorization and Release Form via email to communications@snc.org

Photo Categories

Historic, Subsistence Activities and Foods, Community Gatherings, Elders and Youth, Wildlife, All-Season Landscapes, Berries, Flora and Fauna.

Participants can submit up to (5) photos for the drawing.  SNC highly encourages photos to be 300 dots per inch or 300 DPI for better visual quality.

Prizes

Eligible participants will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win one of three, $200 cash prizes! To be eligible for the drawing, Shareholders and Descendants must identify in the photo description all individuals in photos, where the photo was taken, when, and who the photographer is and for those who are submitting via email to communications@snc.org you must read and complete a Photo Authorization and Release Form located here. **All participants must label their photo by (Last Name_PhotoName).**

Important Notes

1. For those using a laptop or desktop you will find the scroll bar within the grey submission field and not on the far right of the screen where it usually is located.
2. Attention Descendants: Please include in the photo description which Shareholder you are related to. This will help our team with the verification process to be eligible.
3. When you submit your photo(s), it will take up to 1-2 business day for your photo to be approved on the site if all requirements are met.
4. For participants sending via email to communications@snc.org it will take up to 1-2 business day to respond, if not submitted with a completed Photo Authorization and Release Form, it may take longer to approve your submission for the drawing.

Deadline

To submit photos is 4:00pm March 11, 2022. The winner will be drawn the week of March 14, 2022.

This photo submission is designed to help Sitnasuak share the talent and perspectives of our community throughout 2022 in our marketing efforts.
