Effective March 24, Sitnasuak Native Corporation (SNC) offices will close and are tentatively scheduled to reopen on April 6, 2020, at 8:00 a.m. AKDT.
According to CEO Charles E. Fagerstrom, “It is important for Sitnasuak to consider the health, safety, and well-being of our customers, Shareholders, employees, and the surrounding communities. The office closure supports action in the best interests of public health. Sitnasuak is committed to working as a unified team to address this unique health challenge. As a Corporation, our management and board are actively working together to support one another and implement measures in accordance with guidance issued by federal, state and local agencies in this ever-changing environment.”
Both the SNC Nome and Anchorage offices will close and essential employees will be working remotely during this period to support operations. The office closure helps to reduce the spreading of the COVID-19 virus.
Bonanza Fuel, LLC customer and public access hours are temporarily reduced from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. AKDT Monday through Friday. Bonanza Express and Nome Outfitters store hours are temporarily reduced to 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. AKDT. The gas and diesel pumps are available 24/7 via credit, debit, and fleet card payment.
